Items to be examined for the local exhaust system specified in the Ordinance on Prevention of Dangers Due to Specified Chemical Substances and the Ordinance on Prevention of Organic Solvent Poisoning:
-Accumulation of dust in ducts and exhausts
-Lubrication of exhaust machines
-Looseness of duct connections
-Operating condition of the belt connecting the electric motor and fan
-Air intake and exhaust capacity
-Other items necessary to maintain required performance
In addition, based on the provisions of Article 45 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act and the above-mentioned ordinances, the"Periodic self-inspection guidelines for local exhaust system"has been published which summarizes inspection items, inspection methods, judgment criteria etc. to ensure that voluntary periodic inspections are properly conducted.
Items to be examined for the dust removal device, exhaust gas treatment device and drainage treatment device specified in the Ordinance on Prevention of Dangers Due to Specified Chemical Substances and the Ordinance on Prevention of Organic Solvent Poisoning:
Whether and to what extent the structural parts are worn, corroded, or damaged
-accumulation of dust in dust removal devices or exhaust gas treatment devices
-Whether or not the filter media is damaged or the filter media attachment part is loose of dust removal equipment of the filtration dust removal system
-Appropriateness of treatment chemicals, cleaning water jet volume, internal fillers, etc.
-Treatment capacity
-Other items necessary to maintain performance
The laws and regulations mentioned above refer to regular inspections after the start of use. Please note that a separate application and inspection will be required at the time of installation.
